Today, we took another step forward on the potty training journey.... (or potty LEARNING, as the well-informed now call it). Elliott triumphantly did his business! Both #1 and #2!
Of course Alina had to document the momentous occasion. Instead of showing the action shots or photographic proof, we'll just show this cute picture of the kids right after the flushing. Rosemary is Elliott's biggest cheerleader.
When Elliott hopped off the potty and saw the contents of toilet he said something along the lines of "Look at my PINECONE!" His pinecone... get it??!?!
Due to the unseasonably cool weather, we postponed the trip to the waterpark we had planned and instead hung out around the house on Saturday, did some chores, cooked some nice meals and did a TON of yardwork. Alina began her first scrapbook -- a scrapbook of the eight diplomas Alina and Steve have collected between the two of them. 2 high school, one associates, 2 bachelors and 3 masters degree. We are one highly-educated family!! So far the scrapbook simply contains the diplomas but the idea is to put at least one photo of each graduation on the adjacent page along with a memento or graphic.
