Mee Mee and Paw Paw Visit

In early November, Mee Mee and Paw Paw drove up from South Carolina to visit. They came especially to see Gretchen but also to visit with all of us! Elliott and Rosemary love visitors and were brimming with excitement on the Friday of the arrival of their grandparents.


Mee Mee and Paw Paw both oohed and aahed over Gretchen.

Elliott and Rosemary loved unwrapping gifts brought by their grandparents -- it was like an early Christmas!

Elliott and Rosemary enjoy pretending the love seat is a "train". They recruited Paw Paw and Gretchen to take a ride on the train. Of course any train ride is not complete without a pile of toys (*note* this photo is clear evidence we own enough toys to equip an army of toddlers!)

We spent a lot of time at home, keeping the kids happy! Steve and Paw Paw put together our new kitchen island (more on that later)... Mee Mee and Paw Paw also treated us to our first dinner out at a restaurant in who-knows-how-long, which was also Gretchen's first social outing. Gretchen spent most of the dinner snoozing in Alina's pink Hotsling.
