Dinner in the Backyard

We had a bit of refreshingly cooler weather this weekend, perfect for dining al fresco in our backyard.

Elliott decided that chopsticks....

 are the perfect way to eat pork chops....

He set the table with plenty of chopsticks for everyone.

 All the kids enjoyed a deliciously drippy dessert.

Gretchen's first popsicle. Love the way babies blink their eyes and wiggle like a puppy when they taste something new and cold and sweet!

Gretchen: "Hmm, wonder if the other side is edible???" 

 Here comes the big sister to show the little sister the correct way to eat a popsicle....

Gretchen: "Ah ha! NOW I got it!"
