Our First Pottery Pieces

Today, Alina picked up the pottery pieces painted by the kids and Nana during Nana's visit last weekend. Elliott and Rosemary were so happy to see their creations come "to life".

When the pottery is painted, the paint is pastel or transluscent. Only after the pieces are fired in the kiln do the bright colors come out.

We will definitely keep pottery-painting in mind as a future activity!
