Just after Christmas, we drove to Ohio to visit the Laurie/Toth side of the family. Emily and Tom, who traveled from South Carolina, were praying for snow... and we got it. Thick snowflakes fell steadily for two days. Tom even shoveled a driveway for the first time.
Elliott ended up taking two trips to the big sledding hill nearby. Auntie Em loved remembering the many times our Dad took us to the same hill, sharing this experience with her nephew. Gruncle Joel met up with the crew on the second day. Elliott's enormous smile showed his excitement!
Emily gears up to head down the hill....
It was a close call between Tom and Elliott - who was having the most fun?!?!!

Can't get enough of that big grin!

There goes Steve & Elliott...

Elliott realized sitting in the back has advantages... no snow in the face and the sled goes faster. Uncle Joel was happy to oblige.

Hooray for snow and hooray for those brave relatives who spent hours in the snow with Elliott and Rosemary.

Rosemary stayed home from the sledding but joined Auntie Em and Uncle Tom in the yard for snow angels, burying and sliding down the driveway. Only about 3 inches of her face show when she's fully bundled.
Hooray for snow and hooray for those brave relatives who spent hours in the snow with Elliott and Rosemary.
