Flowers in the Yard

This year, many of our perennials bloomed nicely! We do the best we can with yard work. For the most part, yard work is fun work! Some day, we hope to plant flowers so that something pretty is blooming from April through October.

Here's our cozy deck:

Elliott helped us plant these flowers. He still calls them "the bulbs". Because they grow quickly, the bulbs are a fun plant for 2 and 3 year olds to water and watch. Elliott enjoys hiding among the tall stalks!

These last two are pretty enough to print and frame!
