Gobs of Gretchen

Here's Gretchen, a giggling 4 month old!

This is her pretty (and warm) dress. Between Rosemary's hand-me-downs and Gretchen's personal clothing collection, we have a fun selection of adorable outfits in size 3-6 months. (Hmm, perhaps we need a little fashion show...)

Gretchen thrives on action and other people. Even though she is so small, she will catch your eye with her eye, give her whole body a little wiggle and then a big smile. Here she is, wearing her "Gretchen" onesie, one of Alina's and Rosemary's current favorites.

Gretchen has mastered chewing on her hands. She chews on her hands when she is ready to nurse. Her soft cheeks and pretty eyelashes are scrumptious.

Gretchen loves activity. She lays on a pillow, happily kicking at anything dangling. She sits in the exersaucer, tapping her hands on the toys and chewing on rings. Another favorite spot is her red chair.

She joins us at mealtimes, while we are cooking, while we are straightening up, while the older two are playing, while Alina or Steve are catching up on work. Sometimes she plays with her toys.

Sometimes she looks at what's going on. Finally, she has gotten used to the camera and will smile. Sometimes just a little.

We are all having fun with our 4 month old in the house!
