Spring Soccer - Rosemary

Rosemary's off to a fun start to her soccer season. Although it's been brisk and chilly, the girls on her team bundle up and keep warm running around on the field. It's the parents who shiver on the sidelines.

Elliott is playing, too. We have the kids on different nights of week for practices because we wanted to stick with the same coach for Elliott; a great guy who not only gave the boys drills to improve their skills but proved to be an excellent role model. Two kids in soccer means our whole Saturday ends up waiting for a game, at a game, waiting for another game. Sometimes Steve and Alina split up when the games are at the same time and Gretchen doesn't have her nap, but the kids have enjoyed soccer and it's undeniably excellent exercise. At least, that's what we keep telling ourselves!
