Pumpkin Carving

Over the weekend, after Elliott's party, we carved our pumpkins. Jason was there to help and enjoy the frenzy that is small kids, pumpkin goop, permanent markers, and knives.

 The kids drew their pumpkin faces on paper before writing on the pumpkins.

Last step: carving. Steve and Jason put their knife skills to the test.  Elliott wanted a spooky face while Rosemary wanted a friendly face.

Gretchen slept through all this pumpkin-making fun! By the time the 3rd child joins the family, we know that sleep = priority for the little ones.
