Thanksgiving Day

Our Thanksgiving Day included a peaceful four days off with no travel. Ahhh... nice! Much needed after a busy year with work committments and family gatherings. Steve and Alina put together a delicious dinner of salad, turkey and potatoes. The kids helped decorate our table. We sat down to eat in the early evening.
Elliott has taken a keen interest in Alina's camera. He cocks his hip and elbow to keep the lens steady. We've been a little taken aback at his interest but have encouraged it, too.  Here's Thanksgiving from Elliott's eye.

He headed outside to capture the turkey-frying action. Next step: a lesson in adjusting white balance!

Alina took this last one as we were trying to sit down. Elliott insisted on keeping his coat on and Rosemary was dressed more like 4th of July. Happy Thanksgiving!
