Sunday Breakfast and Church

Most Sundays, Steve serves up a delicious breakfast. Scrambled eggs (called 'yellow eggs') are a favorite of Alina and the girls.  Elliott loves his hard-boiled eggs (whites only). Gretchen is developing a preference for egg salad.

We slice up fruit and enjoy farm-fresh sausage or bacon, waffles with butter & jelly, and can't forget Steve's stand-by: protein shakes.

After breakfast, we head off to church for the 9:29am contemporary service and Sunday school. The girls love picking out their dresses and fancier outfits. We're usually negotiating with Elliott; at the moment, he doesn't like any clothing with buttons.

While trying for a group picture, the first spot was too sunny.

So, the kids headed up the hill by the parking lot in search of a better backdrop.

A shady tree produced less squinting and more smiles.
