One Year of Nursing

Ever since Rosemary turned one on April 16th, Alina has been rejoicing in the fact that she and Rosemary successfully completed a year of nursing! Alina's goal was 12 months of no formula, only Mama's Milk, a.k.a. liquid gold. And we are proud to report that goal has been achieved. Hooray!!

People often say "How do you do it?" or
"How can you pump and work?" or
"How can you wake up at night?"
... but to us, how can we NOT?

Human milk is biologically and organically suited for human babies. And it's FREE!! Nursing and pumping have their ups and downs and require a commitment. But no more so than: working out at the gym 3 or 4 days a week, sticking to a diet, applying make-up and blow drying hair each day, keeping a house straight and clean (without hiring someone).
And so we celebrate with proud smiles our achievment of one year of nursing!
