Busy Times

Mid-October has been a busy period for us. We bought six months worth of pork and beef (organic) from a meat co-op -- YUM! Delicious steaks on the grill!

 We prepped for Halloween and celebrated Elliott's birthday at home (costume party to follow later on Halloween weekend!) Who says Alina doesn't cook??? Frosting a cake counts, right?

Steve hit a deer (or, shall we say, the deer hit Steve) and smashed up the Acura. Boo!

Our contractor finally showed up and bulldozed the backyard, removing all the old concrete and pea gravel to prepare for our new stamped concrete patio. The kids were in seventh heaven, watching the mini bulldozer in the backyard.
