We had a wonderful visit from Steve's parents. The kids adore their Mee Mee and Paw Paw and soaked up every waking minute of fun during this fall visit.
Besides Elliott's last soccer game, we went to the airplane "pancake store" (e.g., local airport with diner), the "jumpy place" (e.g. local jump castle establishment), enjoyed lots of yummy breakfast, lunch, and dinner at home, worked on yard projects, and worked on car projects.
Here are the kids, posing near the runway. The kids saw a bright red helicopter take off.
Bouncing and sliding at the "jumpy place" is always fun.
Our neighborhood park is always exciting.
Here we celebrated Paw Paw's birthday with cupcakes and cards.
We transferred the soil removed to make way for the patio to the raised garden bed we created using wood from the deck.
Swinging in the backyard..... Can't believe how much good use we've gotten out of this swing-set.
Steve and his dad replaced the hood of the Acura with a new hood, since the first one was smashed by the deer.
Here's Alina and Steve in the kitchen.
The kids read countless books and magazines with their grandparents and played games, too.
The kids always have a smile on their face and the air is full of laughter when Steve's parents are visiting!
We also took the opportunity to snap a family photo using the tripod. Alina later applied a white background with black & white color scheme and used this photo as the current family photo in the hallway.
