Egg Dyeing

This year, we had just as much fun as ever dyeing eggs with the kids.

Elliott and Rosemary knew the drill, helping to pour the hot water, drop the dye tablets (or drops), split up the colors per kid, and assemble crayons.

Notice the paper covering the table? Yes, we are learning our lessons.

Gretchen happily colored on her eggs, while watching her siblings drop eggs into the cups. When it was her turn for the drop, she was as careful and gentle as any one year old could be.

Besides the typical Paas packets, we tried regular food coloring and all-natural food-based dyes.
Ta-Da! The eggs!
