Nana and Uncle Brenton

Nana and Uncle Brenton visited the same weekend as Rosemary's birthday party (more on that later). As usual, the kids had a wonderful visit with Nana. We were thrilled Brent was also able to take time off from work.

This is the morning of the birthday party.

Gretchen was napping but the older kids agreed... with great bribery.... to pose with Nana. It never ceases to amaze how the kids can be cheerful and happy one minute but when asked to pose they are sulky.

Nana and Uncle Brenton both played lots of games with the kids. Memory has been a big favorite with both Elliott and Rosemary lately.

Gretchen particularly enjoyed this visit with Nana and Uncle Brenton. She is old enough now to remember and appreciate the fun and love family brings to our home when visiting.

Both Nana and Brent helped with some of the yard transformation we've been working on in the backyard all Spring. Brent jumped in with a shovel and helped tremendously.
